Chemline’s ARC Polyurea

The largest clarifier within this new pigment facility was showing early signs of leaking through the cast in place concrete walls during production.  The initial coating for this clarifier was a rigid coating that did not allow for any movement within the system.

OCS proposed coating the clarifier with Chemline’s ARC Polyurea to allow for system flexibility and also offer the abrasion resistance needed for the production processes.  After reviewing site conditions with the Client, OCS only needed to coat the bottom of the clarifier and up the wall 12” to adequately stop the leaking.  Chemline ARC can be put back into service almost immediately, so OCS was able to keep the downtime to a minimum.
